Ok the summer is half over and how do you like your stay or job were you are? I haven't been very active at my cool works except for lately and that is because I am looking for a job for the winter... I really like Mt Mckinley lodge, that is were I am working.... I have been on serveral tours and one of them is flying around denali and landing on the Don sheldon glacier.... I have seen mooses and all most a bear on a atv ride....
well I would love to hear back!

Hey John-Just wanted to stop in and say hi! I've been talking to Brian and Nikki, who are/will be working with you, and haven't had the chance to formally say HI! I will be working at Summit Lake Lodge, which is about 20 miles from Gwin's, and when I get the first chance, I was going to come down to drop in and see how the season is going thus far....was originally going to drive, but the price of gas is OUTRAGEOUS, and a $225 plane ticket sounded mighty good! I will be meeting Nikki before all of you in Anchorage. I will be staying there for four days, then heading down to the lodge. I've been looking for a car to buy just to get me around while I'm there, so hopefully that'll work itself out too...anyhow, feel free to come on up to my lodge, it's nice knowing there's other civilization out there (since we're pretty much the only thing around!). Have a great season!!!

So I am not happy working here in Sol Duc and there are rumors that Aramark may be closing this property, I sent an application and I am going to call later today, Do you think there is any room up there for an ex food and bev director??? I can still bartend and wait tables....... It looks like you guys are just loving life up there...

Thanks, I am SO excited to get there, but it's going to be a long journey. Too bad I didn't get there earlier, but I am staying for awhile so that should make up for it. Excited to meet everyone!

Hey man, just wanted to say that I am glad you made it up here safe. Glad we have another set of able hands to help us out. You will make a great addition to the team. Going to be a great summer, and I am glad you will be around to be a part of it. Us that are here first have to stick together and be the core for the others when they get here sooo late! Well I am a supervior up at Mt McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge for the summer and If things go like plan I will be working for the Lodge year after year....
I am a out doors kinda gal and I can hardly wait to go fishing here.... I have been on a moose hunt since I got here... There has been sightings so I try and keep my camera ready...
This summer I plan on doing a lot of firsts... Like go flying around the glaisers and river boating and fishing in Alaska... Hike around Alaska and get some awesome pictures....

Hey John! Glad you made it up there safely! I will be in Anchorage the 21st...and CAN NOT WAIT!!! I have what I call Aii, Alaska Induced Insomnia. I will be working for Friday's in Anchorage and will have plenty of time to travel. I am planning on coming to Gwin's to see Brian, and Nikki, and now you! Enjoy your stay!
